- Air-cooled models often require valve clearance adjustments every 200 hour

- Generac-specific oil filters and plugs optimize performance; avoid generic replacements.

- Regularly inspect the Cummins-patented High-Pressure Fuel Injection system for leaks or inefficiencies.

- Use Cummins-approved maintenance kits to include filters, plugs, and fluids.

- Clean intake and exhaust manifolds frequently to prevent carbon buildup.

- For liquid-cooled models, monitor turbocharger performance if equipped (common on diesel units).
